Asus Zenfone 4 Max Officially Announced with Dual Camera and a Massive Battery

Taiwanese computer peripheral Company ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Which is globally known as “ASUS.” Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company have introduced the first smartphone in the ASUS’s Zenfone 4 series. Asus Zenfone 4 Max may be the best choice for the people who value the battery life above all the specifications as Asus Zenfone 4 Max boasting of a massive battery.

Earlier, all of us was expecting Asus Zenfone 4 Max to launch in late July 2017, as ASUS CEO Jerry Shen clarified that “Instead of making debut of Asus Zenfone 4 Max during Computex 2017 like all their predecessors, this year’s ZenFone 4 max device will officially launch in late July 2017 in order to achieve better position in the Taiwanese smartphone market against  all the rising Chinese competitors.”

Jerry Shen added more words to his statement “Zenfone 4 max would be one of the best and very affordable smartphones among all Zenfone 4 devices.”

As we all know that ASUS always try to impress their customers by offering great features in their handsets at very affordable price. So, let’s have a look at Zenfone 4 max Specifications to know what it is hiding under the hood.

Zenfone 4 max boasts with a 5.5 inch curved IPS FHD display. (1080*1920 pixels screen resolution.) Which is perfectly companioned with Gorilla Glass 2.5D on the top.

As far as the camera concern, Zenfone 4 Max is equipped with 13.0 megapixels dual lens camera with a f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. (Unfortunately more details are scarce at present) PDAF is also there for quick focus in just 0.03 seconds.

Moreover, the rear camera comes with a 120° view of the field puts the Asus Zenfone Max 4 above all the common medium range smartphones as it wide-angle lens allows users for capturing landscape and group shots. There is also 8.0 megapixels front-facing shooter, which is perfectly capable of stitching selfie panoramas at 140°.

The handset comes with two different chipset variants likely to target other markets, Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, and Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. Zenfone 4 max allows users to have up to 4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB inbuilt storage options plus a microSD slot for the further expansion on a rare non-hybrid dual-SIM slot.

The Asus Zenfone Max 4 runs on Asus’s latest ZenUI version based on Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone measures 154×76.9×8.9mm and weigh 181 grams. It also has a fingerprint sensor (as it is common these days) on the front that can unlock the Asus Zenfone 4 max phone in just 0.3 seconds.

The two biggest highlights of Asus Zenfone 4 Max are its dual lens camera and a huge 5000 mAh battery, which allow fast charging and device also can be used as power bank as well, but this isn’t the attractive feature to have because it is now a standard feature among all the smartphone series from Asus.

The bad thing about Asus Zenfone 4 Max is that in box charger is weak (10W only) if we relate it to other Asus smartphone chargers, it takes a long time of 4 hours to fully charge the battery. But still a 15 minutes charge would be enough for 3 hours of talk time. Here the plus point is that the battery will remain cool during the charging period.

The 5000 mAh mammoth is promised up to 40 hours of talk time on 3G and 46 days of standby time on LTE. Last feature but not the least, users can use Asus Zenfone 4 Max up to 22 hours for video playback

Asus Zenfone 4 Max Price and Availability

At present Asus Zenfone 4 Max will go on sale in Russia only at RUB 13,900 inclusive all the taxes ($235/€205 approx) for the S425 quad-core model with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage (no further information available about the pricing and availability of Asus Zenfone 4 Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor Model.)
