The HTC Desire 830 is equipped with dual BoomSound speakers (one is on top and other is at bottom). The HTC Desire 830 looks it is direct successor of Desire 820 as it is similar in terms of specs and build although just few upgrades in terms of hardware.
Let’s have a look at the specifications and features of HTC Desire 830 and find out what changes it brings for the users.

As per the specifications of HTC Desire 830 seems very appealing. It boasts 5.5″ LCD screen with full HD resolution of 1080 pixels. Dimensions of the device are 157.5 x 78.9 x 7.79 mm. It comes in color choice of orange or blue trim from HTC direct and other Taiwanese carriers and retailers.
Moving on the internal hardware specs of HTC Desire 830, it is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek Helio X10, 64 bit octa-core processor. Which is perfectly coupled with 3 GB RAM. On the memory front, HTC Desire 830 offers 32 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128 GB by using a microSD card.
Desire 830 seems to be a bonus for the photography fans, as the it is the first mid range handset to offer OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) built in to the 13 megapixels main shooter along with a f/2.0 aperture. The aim of this feature in Desire 830 is to provide decent and crispy shots in low light too. For the selfies it is teamed up with a 4 mega pixels f/2.0 Ultra Pixel snapper at the front.
Keeping the light on Desire 830 design and build, it is build up from plastic as it’s predecessor, although the front side of the smartphone is inspired by HTC One X9. The BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio are still on the same place to blow the stereo sound from the top and bottom of the handset, while keeping it in the portrait mode.
Shedding the light on the task of 2800 mAh battery, which seems low powered in comparison to other smartphones in same budget. With Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system power efficiency during standby and the lack of a QHD screen, we would be surprised if it can’t get you through a full day on a single charge.
